Re: observation study - what to show my results ?
Hi Heledods, You need to get some statistics in there I would suggest using chi squared as it is a repeated measure. I would also try and get in a bar chart and a pie chart if you are able to do this with your results. try and do a bit of a write up on your results this can be drawn upon when writin...

Re: Personal Writing on Advanced Personal Development
I'm not sure on this one. When I did my essay it was one short essay and then one normal essay. Maybe it is now an extended essay (3000-4000 words)? I think you will need to bite the bullet and wait for your tutor to come back off their holiday.

Re: NVC - Variables and Participants
Here is an extract from my NVC study that concerns itself with the variables in the test. Be sure however not to copy as it would be considered plagiarism (not that I have to point that out but just thought I would ) .....The sample was determined to be the independent variable (IV) as these people ...

Re: NVC - Variables and Participants
Your observational study would have variables, and don't forget that uncontrollable variables are still variables! for example the dependant variable (what stays the same) would be time frame, Location and maybe the classroom assistant. The Independent variable (that which can change) can be the chi...

Hi Seren19,
You are correct in your statement. However to make things a little clearer to you this means that with a significant level of .5% your Hypothesis is correct. Hope this is of help to you.

Re: Question about time taken to get modules marked
I have to say that I have never had a problem with my work getting marked and returned. It has always been back within fourteen days but usually within seven days.

Re: Adult or Child Nursing ???
Hi Loopy, Here are the 'facts' as I see them; Adult Nursing opens all the doors. If you start on this part of the registrar then you can qualify else where. Unfortunately The NMC restrict this these days to two. For example you may be RN (adult) and RN (mental Health). It is true that before project...

Re: urgent essay help! child rearing styles
I have stuck to the four main parenting styles, then lead onto Social learning, from this touched on abuse and then concluded. I hope everything else I have done in the study and short essay. I have to admit its a really hard essay to include everything in such few words, I would recommend that what...

Re: Can someone answer my post?
Ok, If you look at the criteria, then you should find that they are both the same. So the whole unit is six credits. I feel (though I might be wrong) that you may hit some criteria in the development essay, some in the research project and some in the short essay. What I think is that you should onl...

Re: does any body else agree?!
I know that biology is quite in depth. My wife did an access to he last year at our local collage, and her pathway was bio science. but you should be able to push through it quit quickly, I am pretty sure it will be mostly patch work and most people find that a lot easier than essays and reports. If...

Re: does any body else agree?!
is there no way you can push forward and get the extra six credits?? I know how hard it is!! I struggled with my last unit, although it was nine credits, so I guess that did help me, took me just over the threshold for June moderation. two more units and Im done............ not that it would make yo...
