Re: Uni entry help!

:D Hi - What the DLC are offering is more than enough. Stop stressing.... although uni's are constantly changing the goal posts so for 2013 it may change again... Which unfortuneatly they do quite often!

Re: Advice please

Hi there - I also have 3 children and when I was studying worked full time in a very stressful job (traveling about 800 miles a week round the country). The beauty of this course is its flexible and you can do it as and when you want. It is tough and you do need to be motivated. You get a weekly cal...

Re: Newbie posting

Hi there, I am studying at UWL - University of West London. Don't be put off by anything you may or may not have heard about them... Its a great uni and don't offer places just on interview alone. If you can get some health care experience, get really good grades on your access course you have a pre...

Re: Bit of a dummy

Hi there, I would be VERY surprised if you don't get an offer of an interview to be considered for nursing. You have to do maths and English tests at the interviews as well. You usually get a bit of notice. I got 1 months notice for Surrey Uni and 1 weeks notice for University of West London. Hope t...

Re: Ex Student UCAS Reference

Yes they will. They did a ref for me 2 years in a row, and many on here have applied more than once or twice and get a ref.

Good luck for next time! :D

Re: UCAS tracking unsuccessful

Thanks Mel - I am loving the course.. hard but love it Yeah PS is really hard and harder getting the balance right. Re: UCAS tracking unsuccessful

Hi there - just poking my nose here a bit but i had a similar problem for midwifery. They said i did not show enough understanding of the role. But the next year i got in. What I did was to outline my skills and then write how I felt it would benefit me in my chosen carreer eg 'I worked as a dental ...

Re: :(

Hi there - I am a little confused as to how you have applied for Sept 13 as UCAS is open for 2012... Did you click to defer for a year? If so midwifery places dont usually allow you to defer for a year because they are so over subscibed! Also all unis contacted you in one day? They usually contact y...
