Private messaging limitations

Hi everyone this is just a quick message to make you all aware of what is happening.

We've recently been targeted by spammers and I'm doing my best efforts to eliminate them which is difficult as some are human!

It has come to my attention that members have been receiving spam through private messaging which I became aware of through the report system. Please do keep sending reports for any spam you see as it helps me to quickly identify and delete.

To stop spam going through the PM system I have had to put a limitation in place. What this means is, new members won't be able to send or read any private messages until a certain amount of posts have been approved. This number is small, but allows me to weed out the spammers from real members.

Hopefully this won't cause any inconvenience to anyone.

How do I gain access to my private messages, I used to be able to read them (prior to Christmas) but Haven't really used the forum much since and have received messages I want to read?

Hi Beth,

You will need 5 posts to be able to access your private messages. This was put in place to ensure people are genuine people as unfortunately a few abused the system and distributed other learners.

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and currently starting to enroll my course here by the way I am Eloisa. I want to ask some advice which option I will choose to do nursing course, apparently I finished my nursing back home (Philippines) but I did not take the board exam there at the moment I am doing my English and math functional skills level 1. I don't know what is the best to do to pursue my career as registered nurse.

Great to hear from you, the best advice I can give is to get in touch with student services e-mail studentservices@distancelearningcentre.com and ask them to give you a call they will then go through all the options with you so that you are on the correct option for you from the start.
