TAQ's? Confused.

Have just downloaded the assessments and getting confused by the posts about TAQ's, I haven't found any whilst going through the units, and can't see anything other than the criteria on the assessment sheets?
Not sure if it's changed since others did it or if I'm missing something?

No you are not missing missing anything for social interaction the assessments are not in the materials

I was told by my tutor there is a TAQ short essay within the learning materials and I have literally scanned it all over and over today trying to find this essay and nothing? So im guessing the only work we need to do for this module is the personal essay and report in the assessment part?

I just split the essays - one short essay (800-1000),completely written as an academic piece with no personal detail as explained to me by my tutor, followed by the Advanced Essay (1500-2000).

The Advanced Essay can be found in the social interaction assessment section. (PK03/GM/104)

The short essay can be found......hmm - that's odd. I can't seem to find it either.

I have the same sheet as for the Advanced Essay but under where you sign and date it, there are 2 bits that say TAQ1 and TAQ2.

Perhaps it's been changed?

It's all on the same page.

With the criterias, 1.1 covers the first essay (TAQ 1) and the rest covers the personal writing bit. Both of these will give you 3 credits.

The other 3 credits comes from the other assessment, which is the report on NVC.

Twinkle - I looked today on the assessment pages and materials pages and could only see TAQ2. Looks like it's been moved?

I have only just finished TAQ 2 and it was there last week.

OMG you are right!

How funny, and I've scribbled all over my original - where has it gone!!!

The criteria 1.1 bit is still there, but it would be confusing for any new people looking at it.

Fortunately I had printed mine out before it disappeared because I had also scribbled over mine!

Wonder if they've decided not to split it as two and to just have it as one huge essay?

What do we do if we have already completed the first shorter essay, at around 1,000 words, and have nearly finished the second, at around 2,000 words.

The new format is asking for 1,500 -2000 words for the whole lot, but is asking for exactly the same criteria content as the original?

I have spent enough time on this and will be disappointed if I have to re-do it.

Can you please advise?

I'm sure we won't have to redo it. I too have completed the advanced one last week but it says not to post all three until you've completed them all. They can't possibly ask you to redo or it'll increase the time it takes to complete the course (potentially).

Although it's asking for the same criteria, it'll just mean it has to be more condensed but will still prove you understand the theory.

I think that's correct?
