Hi Lauren
You don't have to use a quote - it may be better to include evidence from a piece of research that you could then reference - is not always necessary to have a quotation

Couldn't agree more with Rebecca, Sarah. Get an email/text sent to your tutor and see if you can organise the time for a tutorial. Sometimes it is much better to discuss things, rather than reading discussions on a forum. As useful as a forum can sometimes be, it's not always written in the way that you personally will understand!

Let us know how you get on

Hi,
a lot of people seem to be suggesting evaluation of the treatments for OCD, rather than evaluating the contribution of psychological perspectives. Is evaluating the treatments of OCD (while still looking at the influence of the perspectives) enough?

Hi
The key idea in this essay is to evaluate the treatments - you do need to link the treatments to the perspectives - the treatments used are different in different perspectives

Hi All!

I'm struggling with the conclusion on my essay - I've written about biological, cognitive and psychodynamic perspective but I'm not really sure how I'm going to collate all I've said in the conclusion :(

Anybody else get stuck here?

:)

Hi
You could maybe conclude with what treatment you think would work best for Diane and why?

Hi, could I just check one thing with this TAQ. Currently I am writing about the biological approach and how drug therapy is used, naming various researchers. I was under the impression, that for each perspective only one treatment, like drug therapy, is necessary? Is this correct?
Heather :)

Hi Heather
There are lots of different approaches you could take with this essay - it sounds like you are considering one treatment each from a range of different perspectives which is fine :)
