word count- how to prepare for a presentation

Post by doypascual »

Hi all,

I'm sure this question has been asked before (or maybe similar to it, sorry).
I am having trouble working with my word count range of 700. I have done everything I could, cut everything I could and drank as much coffee as I could but still have 709 words!

Will they kill me for those excess words?

Thanks for looking at this.

Regards,
Claudio Pascual

Not familiar with this exact module - but I assume it's part of a 3 credit one ?
You must not exceed 1500 total.
The word count specified per TAQ question is a guide - so you can go over or under - but you cannot exceed the 1500 total allowed.

Carry on with the rest of the assessment and see how your word count is at the end! Word count is 1000-1500 (3 Credits) 2000-2500 (6 Credits)

Good luck

Hi Claudio

Don't worry about this - I'd rather that you have 700 words for the plan itself than limiting yourself. See the word count as a guide - for all the TAQs that have a word count in Further Study Skills, make sure all of them added together doesn't go over 1500.
