I've read a few posts on here and gather the bulk of this answer needs to be in part 2, any advice on how much detail I should go into in part 1? I've written two sentences at the moment so I'm going for the very basic option, is that along the right lines?

I'd say keep it specific, use the language of the subject matter of course so relatively detailed as can be done within the word count. The real test of how this question is answered is how strong the explanation of such things as morphology, reproduction etc is

Thanks Robin so I include the detail of morphology etc in part 1 of this TAQ? I'm finding the 300 total word count difficult as I have 300 words just for the table in part 2.
