I have laid these out as flyers for ease of reading by the 'scientists'
How to avoid catching the disease/passing it on
What it is, symptoms etc

I am really struggling with the life cycle for these and should I be compiling the information in technical terms or lay terms?

Hi Helen,

It's not a huge word count for this section. Get the main points across, short and sharp. I'm not sure if the style of this TAQ has changed from when I did it....but for me it was more specifically a presentation.

In the presentation I included...

- Recommendations for best practice in the control of cross infection
- How infections are spread in hospitals
- Two major problems (I looked at MRSA and C-Difficile)
- Best practices for preventing the spread of the above

On the NHS website there're some great documents in IPC (Infection Prevention & Control) and general google searches should give you some great information.

Apologies if your TAQ question is completely different to the above I've posted, but hopefully/maybe this information will set you in the right direction.

Pay close attention to the mark assessment criteria's to see exactly what you are being marked for & be precise/to the point with your word count.

Much appreciated, finally managed to get hold of my tutor and discovered that the word count is for the notes only, NOT the presentation as well, that helps!

No problem Helen - and I'm sure that information of your tutor helps a whole bunch! Such a strangely small Word Count for a presentation - I remember it being enough to cover a few titles and a few bullet point statements haha. Glad it's just your notes
