TAQ 3

Post by ELHopkins »

H,I,J & K of this question, I know you always do brackets first but when the sum is 4(56+96) does this mean add brackets them times by first number?

Example. 3(47+68) = (50+70)=120 x 3=360 ? If this is a correct way to do it, I'm then assuming I could leave the answer as it is as it is or round up to 400?

I'm completely baffled by this. If I have the whole method wrong please help :)

I asked my tutor and you have to do the numbers in brackets first then multiply by the first number :)
