Brain Fried!

Post by sindall007 »

I have collected the data, age and shoe size for the Maths project but now seem to be having a complete brain block with what to actually do with it! I HATE MATHS!!!!
I do find the instructions to some of the maths units and assessments ever so confusing! HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP :violin:

Hi,

Firstly, don't panic!

I'm not sure how much data you've got but here are some things that you could try.

If you have more than one value for each age then you could find an average size for each age
You could then plot these averages in a graph
This would then show if there was a general increase over time.

You could also consider boys and girls separately (if you have collected your data in this way)

Don't forget to take care with the sizes as they go from 13 to 1. You will need to find a way to deal with this.

I hope this helps, your tutor will be able to help you too so do please ask.

Yvonne
